Vince McMahon Establishes ‘Wild Card’ Rule; 3 Stars From SmackDown Can Appear On RAW And Vice Versa
Things are being shaken up after the Shake-Up.
To kick off tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon stated that this show was going to be a night that no one would forget and that would come by way of him establishing the ‘Wild Card’ rule but before that he was interrupted by SmackDown Live’s Roman Reigns. Following Roman was the returning former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan who has been off WWE TV since WrestleMania 35 dealing with an undisclosed injury. Daniel Bryan grabbed a microphone and mentioned his loss to the current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston which led to Kofi Kingston making his way to ring.
WILD CARD RULE?! @VinceMcMahon just had an epiphany…
What if he allowed 3 Superstars from #SDLive to head to #RAW and vice versa on a regular basis? pic.twitter.com/Ws2NBTzpM4

Vince McMahon made it official that the ‘Wild Card’ rule will allow 3 superstars from RAW and SmackDown each to come to either show but the consistency of those appearances was not confirmed. McMahon then stated that on tonight’s show, Roman Reigns will take on Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston will defend his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan.
