Vince McMahon Believes Bret Hart Has The Highest Credibility Factor Of All Past WWE Champions

Vince McMahon gives perhaps the most meaningful compliment he could ever give to Bret Hart.

Bret Hart has always been known for taking the presentation of his character very seriously, some have even accused him of taking his character too seriously.

However, many look back on Bret Hart in retrospect, the realism he brought to everything he did on camera. Now, even Vince McMahon is calling him the most believable Champion WWE has ever had.

Speaking on the A&E Biography special covering Bret’s life and career, Vince McMahon credited Bret for working hard despite his size and said there was perhaps never a more credible WWE Champion.

“Although he is very technical, very sound, very believable, Brett was not as big as some of our other performers. But, Brett stayed in there and hung in there, and eventually, everyone recognized his skill and the rest is history,” said Vince McMahon about Bret Hart’s rise through the ranks in the WWE.

Vince added, “Bret is an unusual cat. Man, that was a real champion. The credibility factor with Bret, I think, will be the highest of anyone we ever had as champion.”

Bret Hart and Vince McMahon have a very storied checkered past but Bret Hart was able to let bygones be bygones and his personal issues with Vince McMahon were able to play out on television in a match at WrestleMania 26. The last WrestleMania match for either Bret Hart or Vince McMahon.
