Vince McMahon Appears On 4/1 WWE WrestleMania SmackDown, Protects Austin Theory From Pat McAfee
Austin Theory can run and he can also hide.
On the April 1 episode of WWE SmackDown, Theory attacked his WrestleMania opponent Pat McAfee while he was playing air guitar during Shinsuke Nakamura’s entrance. The SmackDown commentator gave chase but couldn’t reach Theory before he entered Mr. McMahon’s office.
Theory had done this in weeks past, but Pat decided to kick in the door this time around. Unfortunately for him, Vince immediately appeared and threatened to take his WrestleMania match and job away if he didn’t go back to ringside and do his job, effectively protecting his protege in the process.
This was Vince’s first appearance on SmackDown since July 2021 when he welcomed fans back into attendance.

After Pat returned to the booth, Theory came back out and threw a drink in his face. Finn Balor, however, came out and threw Theory into the ring and beat him up. They were eventually added to the tag team match in progress, making it a 6-Man Tag.

Vince McMahon is set to induct The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame tonight immediately following SmackDown.
