Viewership For Impact Wrestling Keeps Decreasing
TNA almost had this week's episode of Impact Wrestling pulled by Pop TV, but after Impact Wrestling was broadcasted, TNA turned in an even more lackluster viewership for this week's episode than last week's episode.
The October 13 episode of Impact Wrestling drew 284,000 viewers, down from last week's 305,000. This continues the company's downward spiral in the ratings as the company is dealing with issues when it comes to the long-term survival of the company.
While it did crack the top 150 shows in the 18-49 demographic, something that last week's show could not do, the 284,000 viewers it drew this week is almost a third of Impact's viewership from two weeks ago (365,000).
Impact Wrestling this week featured multiple titles on the line. Gail Kim defending her Knockouts Title against Maria Kanellis, Aron Rex defending his TNA Grand Championship against Jessie Godderz and Cody facing off against Mike Bennett.
NFL coverage led the ratings in the 18-49 demographic, with the postgame coverage of the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers game and the game itself were #1 and #2 in the ratings, respectively. Game 5 of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals series, which was #3 in the ratings, led the viewership total for the night with 4.519 million viewers. Impact Wrestling was #146 in the ratings.
