Vida Gail James, Mother Of Scott Armstrong & Brian ‘Road Dogg’ Armstrong, Has Passed Away
The matriarch of the Armstrong wrestling dynasty has passed away.
WWE referee Scott Armstrong and his brother, WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg, announced the sad news today on social media asking for thoughts and prayers during this tough time.
This morning our Mother, Vida Gail James, the Matriarch of the James/Armstrong family, went to be with the Lord. We are so thankful that our Father was able to be at her side until the very end. At this time we respectfully ask for your thoughts and prayers for our family. —

Their father, WWE Hall of Famer, “Bullet” Bob Armstrong is battling cancer and recently made the decision to not undergo treatment.
Today my 80yr old Dad, @WWE Hall of Famer Bullet Bob, asked if he could come over to get a workout! He’s got bone cancer in his ribs, shoulder and prostate and chose not to go through any treatment (his choice)!
