Velveteen Dream Rejects The Idea Of Hulk Hogan Becoming His Manager

The Velveteen Dream responding in typical Velveteen fashion.

Patrick Clark was among the field of competitors on the sixth season of WWE’s ‘Tough Enough’ series. Clark finished in ninth place on this particular season as he was eliminated by the panel of judges consisting of Paige, The Miz, and Hulk Hogan before Hogan was removed from the listings of the show following the breaking news concerning the racial remarks he made that were recorded and made its way into headlines of many pro wrestling and non-pro wrestling publications.

While Hogan has been on the outs with WWE, Patrick Clark has risen to stardom as he has adapted the personality of a character named the ‘Velveteen Dream’. The flamboyant Dream has seemingly become a fan favorite and at the age of 22 he receives a gracious amount of praise from those currently in WWE and respected performers who have been a part of the company as well. Recently at NXT TakeOver Chicago II, Velveteen Dream made an attention-grabbing entrance as he walked down the aisle-way with a Hulk Hogan inspired look as seen in the embedded video above.

The entrance and look brought many eyes to Velveteen Dream and a pair of eyes who also caught wind of the entrance is the man himself, Hulk Hogan. Hogan noted over Twitter that if he were to be hired as Dream’s manager then the two could form an alliance of sorts.

The quick-witted Velveteen then responded to Hogan stating that while the team-name that Hogan presented sounds intriguing, the Dream rides solo and told Hogan “good try Terry”.
