Veda Scott Talks Working With Dave Prazak, Matt Rehwoldt, Caprice Coleman

Veda Scott has worked with some of the best commentators in professional wrestling.

Scott has had a very busy year in the world of wrestling, as she’s worked for promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling, GCW, Wrestling Revolver, West Coast Pro, & Prestige Wrestling in 2023 alone. Scott often shares the commentary desk with other big commentators like Caprice Coleman, Dave Prazak, Walker Stewart, and Jordan Castle.

While speaking to Fightful for a recent interview, Scott was asked to name the commentators that she’s learned the most from over the years.

“Oh, gosh. So many people. I just try to learn and absorb and ask questions. I recently did as part of the New Japan / IMPACT Wrestling Multiverse United special that happened at the ECW Arena a few months ago. I got to work with Tom Hannifan finally. That was incredible. He gave me so much advice, went over notes with me. He is just awesome and he’s someone I’m a huge fan of, especially watching IMPACT every week. But I finally got to work with Tom and I’ve been working with Matt Rehwoldt more regularly as part of Pro Wrestling Revolver. Incredible. How can you be good at two things like that?”

Scott also went on to say that she loves getting to work with Dave Prazak on multiple occasions every month.

“But yeah, I try to learn as much as I can from everyone. I call a lot of different kinds of wrestling. The fact that I get to work with Dave Prazak a few times a month is incredible.”

Scott also had high praise for Deadlock Pro Wrestling, saying that they have the best community and the best content.

“Absolutely. As a wrestling promoter, as an announcer and then I recently started doing stuff with Deadlock, DPW. The best community, the best content. But there I actually get to work with Caprice and Rich Bocchini, two of my favorites. So that’s a squad. This literally could go on for hours because I literally love every team.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Scott said that she’s excited to continue working with New Japan Pro Wrestling. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
