United States Championship, Shane McMahon Ref, More Set For Summerslam

Kevin Owens and AJ Styles will do battle yet again at WWE Summerslam, but Shane McMahon is an added twist.

During Tuesday Night's episode of WWE Smackdown Live, AJ Styles successfully defended his United States Championship against challenger and former champion Kevin Owens. Following a ref bump, Owens clearly had his shoulder up during the pin and was livid with the call.

Backstage, Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon and Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan confirmed the bad referee call, and granted Owens a title re-match at August 20th's Summerslam show. However, Owens demanded a referee that wouldn't be too fragile, and Shane McMahon accepted the challenge.

McMahon is only weeks removed from surviving a helicopter crash himself.

Also announced for the show is a match between Randy Orton and Rusev.

WWE Summerslam takes place August 20 from New York, New York.
