MLW Fusion Episode 39 Results MLW Heavyweight Championship Match Tommy Dreamer vs Brian Pillman Jr.
Rich Swann takes on Dragon Lee, Sami Callihan is on the hunt for Tom Lawlor and the Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer is in action on this week’s episode of MLW Fusion!
Dragon Lee vs Rich Swann
Rich puts Lee in a side headlock before Lee reverses into a standing front choke, the two exchanging arm drags before hitting each other with huricanrranas. Lee and Rich sweep each other’s legs and mirror a dropkick before Rich starts dancing and dropkicks Lee. Rich chops Lee in the corner before Lee dropkicks Swann out of the ring and Rich sends him into the support column for the lighting rig. Swann misses a chop and hits the support column before rolling Lee back into the ring and hitting a snapmare into a kick to the spine. Swann pulls at the mask of Lee and puts him in the tree of woe before hitting a running dropkick in the corner.
Lee comes back with a huricanrrana and a neckbreaker for a two count before they exchange kicks. Swann hits a frog splash for a near fall and Lee hits a reverse huricanrrana before Swann drops him with a superkick. They then exchange kicks until Lee rocks Swann with a bicycle knee and Lee hits the Dragon Driver when Swann misses a phoenix splash for the pin and the win.
Winner: Dragon Lee defeats Rich Swann via pinfall with the Dragon Driver.
-Sami Callihan searches for Tom Lawlor backstage while holding a hammer before Brian Pillman Jr. cuts a promo about his Singapore Cane Match against Tommy Dreamer in our main event later tonight.
Singapore Cane Match
Tommy Dreamer vs Brian Pillman Jr.
They duel with canes before Brian misses an elbow drop and Tommy hits him with his Cane before they exchange chops and Tommy hits a side Russian leg sweep. Tommy chokes Brian with his sweater before tossing him out of the ring and spits a beer in his face before Tommy chops the ring post and Brian crotches him on the railing. Brian superkicks Tommy and slams his arm into the ring post before hitting the hand of Tommy with the cane. Brian dropkicks Tommy and bends his fingers. Brian hits a scoop slam and Tommy hits him with his Singapore cane before Brian can hit him with his regular cane.
Tommy then comes back with strikes before hitting a powerslam for a near fall before Brian hits a spinning neckbreaker for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brian Pillman Jr. defeats Tommy Dreamer via pinfall with a spinning neckbreaker.
MLW World Heavyweight Championship Match
Low-Ki (c) vs Fred Yehi
Low-Ki locks in an armbar in the ropes and rocks Fred with a forearm before Fred hits a scoop slam and takes Low-Ki down with a single leg. Low-Ki goes for a heel hook, but Yehi pulls out of it and Low-Ki drops him with a flurry of right hands. Low-Ki then kicks Fred before Fred gets a near fall off of a roll up and Low-Ki hits a diving stomp off of the top to the back of Fred for the pin and the win.
Winner: Low-Ki retains his MLW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Fred Yehi via pinfall with a diving stomp.
-After the match Sami goes into a room and Tom Lawlor comes back out with his hammer as we go off the air.
