The Undertaker Told Rusev He Was “Really Good” After Their Match At WWE Greatest Royal Rumble
Rusev received high praise from “The Deadman”.
WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia for their third show as a part of the company’s deal with the Saudi Arabia General Sports Authority which will be entitled ‘Super ShowDown’ on June 7th. Already announced for the show is a 50-man Battle Royal, Randy Orton versus Triple H, and The Undertaker going one-on-one with Goldberg. The Undertaker has competed at the last two Saudi Arabia shows and at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in April of 2018, Undertaker defeated Rusev in a Casket match.
Rusev has spoken about his experience working with The Undertaker in the past and while being interviewed by Express Sport, “The Bulgarian Brute” revealed that The Undertaker informed him that he was “really good” once they wrapped up their match at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
“It was fine, it was fun working with him. It’s not like I have a checklist, but I got to work with him and Hunter and Hogan and few people who I watched growing up and [I’ve] always been a big fan of obviously all of them, and Taker is such a special character and he’s been here for like 30 years or whatnot. He’s a legend, he’s an icon so getting to work with him and talk to him afterwards and pick his brains, it was a great opportunity for me.” Rusev continued, “He told me that I’m really good. I’m not even messing around, he told me I’m really good.”
Rusev was originally replaced by Chris Jericho in that aforementioned Casket match but the bout was converted once again. To stay up to date with the match card for the upcoming Super ShowDown event, click here.
