The Undertaker Closes The Lid On ‘Rusev Day’; Defeats Rusev In A ‘Casket Match’
The legend continues to grow.
For the first time since his reemergence onto the scene at WrestleMania 34 where he laid John Cena to rest in quick fashion, The Undertaker arose once again for the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. On a mission to stop the momentous Undertaker was the former two-time WWE United States Champion Rusev.
Rusev attempted to edge his mark in history as being one of the men to put "The Deadman" down as he had Aiden English at ringside who pulled out all the stops in order to take 'Rusev Day' to the next level.
The distractions and Rusev's fight was not enough as the end of the contest saw Aiden English step into the ring to prevent Rusev from having the Casket lid closed on him, but English was caught by the hands of The Undertaker and given a "Tombstone Pile-Driver". The Undertaker then tossed Aiden English into the casket on top of Rusev as the duo were put to rest by "The Deadman".
As the event nears its end, gear up for the post-event podcast where our very own Sean Ross Sapp will go over the show in its entirety.
