Tyler Bate Tells Butch To Look Inward And Ask Himself, ‘What Is That Name Going To Be?’ On 1/12 WWE SmackDown
What’s in a name.
Tyler Bate and Butch sat down for some coffee in a vignette that aired on the January 12 episode of WWE SmackDown. While Bate wanted to continue their partnership, Butch said that they should go their separate ways, and that they were done and the Brawling Brutes were done.
Bate said they could work on mindfulness and that Butch needed to find the person who told him what it took to make a name for himself. He then commented that Butch needed to look inward and ask himself “What is that name going to be?”

Before he became Butch on the main roster, Butch was formerly known as Pete Dunne in NXT and NXT UK.
Bate made his main roster debut at WWE SmackDown New Year’s Revolution, defeating Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).
