Here’s your Fight Size update following WWE NXT on September 6, 2023.

– Tyler Bate faced Dabba-Kato and scored a big win.

– The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) commented on their return, and they made it clear that they want the NXT Tag Team Championship. NXT Tag Team Champions The Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lprenzo) interrupted  Malik Blade and Edrid Enofe, Lucien Price and Bronco Nima, and other teams got involved. Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo showed up, and the teams brawled.

– Tiffany Stratton defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Kiana James. Stratton went to use James’ bag against her, but James had it scouted. Stratton ranked James’ eyes, slammed her and hit the Prettiest Moonsault ever for the win. 

– Becky Lynch appeared on the video screen and said she would be coming to NXT. Lynch revealed that she will challenge Tiffany Stratton for the title on September 12.

–  Dragon Lee faced Mustafa Ali in a match where the winner would earn a shot at the NXT North American Championship. Dominik Mysterio, the reigning champion, was the special referee. Thanks to some questionable officiating buy Mysterio, Ali emerged victorious.

– Bron Breakker faced Von Wagner in a No Disqualification Match. Brekaker hit Wagner below the belt and pinned him with a Spear. Breaker attacked Wagner after the bell and hit him with the steel steps. 

After NXT went off the air, Von Wagner was stretchered out of the arena.

– In an NXT Global Heritage Invitational match, Nathan Frazer defeated Duke Hudson.

– In a Group A Global Heritage Invitational Match, Butch faced Axiom. They clashed in a thrilling match that ended in a draw. Tyler Bate stared Butch down after the bout. 

– Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne bonded backstage. Gigi Dolin interrupted, as did Blair Davenport. She called Hail a child who was struggling to swim in shark-infested waters. Hail stood up for herself. Dolin warned her against hanging out with Jayne.

– Thea Hail faced Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne accompanied her to the ring. Blair Davenport interfered and attacked Dolin. Hail capitalized and made Dolin tap out.

– Ilja Dragunov defeated Oro Mensah. Wes Lee came out after the match and told Dragunov he’d have to wait in line for a title shot. Dragunov said he’d go through anyone in order to get a rematch. NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes interrupted and revealed that they will clash in a #1 Contender’s Match next week, where the winner will challenge for the title at NXT No Mercy.

– Kiana James and Roxanne Perez argued backstage, and they brawled.

– NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton commented on her upcoming match with Becky Lynch and sent the WWE Raw star a message.

– Rhea Ripley briefly shared her ther thoughts on Dominik Mysterio’s referee uniform.
