Two Title Matches Set For NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day, Edge Vows To Watch NXT Title Match Closely
Two championship matches are on for the next NXT TakeOver and “The Rated R Superstar” promises to watch one very closely.
On the February 3 episode of NXT, it was confirmed that Johnny Gargano will defend his NXT North American Championship against KUSHIDA. This stems from KUSHIDA racking up several wins in NXT including eliminating Johnny Gargano and Austin Theory from the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament.

Also, for the NXT Championship, Finn Balor will defend his championship against Pete Dunne. Dunne, since returning to NXT, has made it clear that he wants to go against the NXT Champion in an attempt to win a title that he has had a few chances to gain in the past.
However, this Championship could punch either man’s ticket to WrestleMania 37 in Tampa, Florida as Edge made his NXT debut revealed that it was the NXT brand that inspired him to get back into wrestling and that if he hasn’t made his decision by the time TakeOver comes around, he may very well choose to go out for the NXT Championship because it is a championship that he has never held.
