Two Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament matches have been announced for the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament will begin on the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. AEW has announced two quarterfinal matches. Roderick Strong will face Trent Beretta, and Darby Allin will face Nick Wayne. The tournament will continue on AEW Rampage and AEW Collision.

The winner of the tournament will challenge MJF for the AEW World Championship on the September 20 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Strong’s match will mark the first time he will compete in an AEW ring since the July 1 episode of AEW Collision, where Samoa Joe took him out with an attack. Strong has wrestled twice on the independent scene, and he has frequently appeared on AEW programming during this period.

AEW also announced that Darby Allin will face Nick Wayne in a quarterfinal match.
