Triple H Talks Ronda Rousey’s WWE Debut And Future

Former UFC Champion Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut — kind of — at the 2018 Royal Rumble following the main event.

It was far from her first appearance for the brand, as she's shown up at the Mae Young Classic tournament and finals, Summerslam in 2014, and WrestleMania 31. The latter of which saw her land a judo throw on former WWE Champion Triple H.

After Rousey's Rumble appearance Sunday night, Triple H spoke on his former foe-turned employee to ESPN.

"I also think there's a little bit of, 'What can the WWE do for Ronda? Ronda is such a vocal personality and she wants to be the one out there saying the things people are afraid to say and to get in front of global issues. So to have a platform globally as big as WWE, the reach we have, it's an amazing opportunity for both sides. And coming at it from an athlete side, with her background, to be able to do this and have fun doing it, it's a perfect mix."

Rousey has ready made programs with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, the WWE's Four Horsewomen, Asuka, Charlotte and Alexa Bliss based on her appearance on Sunday night.
