Triple H Hypes Up WWE NXT Heatwave, Thinks The North American Title Match Will Be ‘Special’

Triple H previews the special “Heatwave” edition of NXT 2.0 and shares his excitement about the lineup.

In string of tweets, Triple H previewed the special “Heatwave” edition of NXT 2.0 and shared his excitement about the lineup.

Triple H is often called the father of NXT, and while he is now the head of all WWE creative, he is still passionate about the brand. On August 16, a few hours before the new episode, he highlighted each match on the card in a number of tweets.

Starting with the NXT North American Championship match, Triple H commended Carmelo Hayes for his consistency and his skillset. He also stated that Vinci knows what it takes to win and shared his belief that this match will be special.

“Consistency is a characteristic of any great performer. @Carmelo_WWE has been just that. As #WWENXT North American Champion, he’s been equal parts entertaining and impressive in the ring. @VinciWWE  knows what it takes to win, and I think this match will be special,” he wrote.

Next, he previewed the Street Fight between Tony D’Angelo and Santos Escobar by noting that both men have thrived as leaders and discovered a lot about themselves.

Moving on to the NXT Women’s Championship match, Triple H stated that Zoey Stark will another step in her growth and development this week, both on Tuesday night and on Friday, when she makes her debut on SmackDown as part of the tournament for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. As for Mandy Rose, he lighted her dedication and pointed out her impressive reign.

When previewing Roxane Perez’s match with Cora Jade, Triple H stated that the sky is the limit for both women, and he believes this clash will only be the beginning of “another fabled table” in NXT’s women’s division.

Finally, Triple H shared his thoughts on the NXT Championship match by stating that Bron Breakker has grown immensely and Jordan Devlin continues to level up.
