Triple H Discusses Possibly Having Performance Center In Australia, Says There’s A Strong Possibility

Triple H wants to establish a breeding ground for WWE talents in various points around the world.

One day before NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, the news broke that WWE opened the first Performance Center outside of the United States and that P.C. is located in the United Kingdom. NXT and NXT UK founder and senior producer Triple H was in attendance as well as the entire NXT UK roster, Finn Balor, Robbie Brookside, Matt Bloom, Shawn Michaels and many others were present at the opening day of the London P.C.

During an interview with the ‘Hindustan Times’ hours after the announcement of the NXT UK Performance Center, Triple H told the site that he can say with certainty that there will be a Performance Center in India. There are more Performance Centers to come as HHH is planning to plant various facilities around the globe and one of those landing spots could be in Australia as Triple H hinted to while talking with ‘news.com.au’. Triple H said it depends on the fan-base within the place that they are planning on establishing a P.C. in and that fan-base having a hunger for it and mentioned that WWE has their eyes on Australia.

“It depends on the passion as to where we go first,” he said. “The passion was so strong here in the UK and there was a massive base. Australia has a good scene happening there right now. We’re obviously keeping an eye on it and working with it. But, these are large commitments, so it’s about when we have the level of interest and the belief that there are enough people there for it to succeed.”

The likes of Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, WWE Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy, Rhea Ripley and Shane Thorne all hail from Australia and Triple H added that there is a good chance there could an NXT Australia if called for.

“We can train people anywhere,” he said. “But once that boils up to enough passion, enough people and enough interest in the marketplace, then we will go there and reward that passion. Once that happens in Australia, we can start what we’re doing here — which is train 30-50 talents. We get to put a brand on the ground. We get to put an NXT Australia there. We get to make that scene happen there. I do think that’s a strong possibility.” He said.
