Triple H Comments On WALTER’s NXT UK Debut, Wants Fans To Be Patient For WALTER vs. Pete Dunne
Triple H discusses NXT UK’s biggest signing.
Speaking to the media following NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Triple H gave his thoughts on WALTER joining the brand.
“He brings everything WALTER brings to the table,” said Triple H “It’s an interesting thing when you’re signing talent, especially having a reputation on the Indies. Being in the Indies or being here on a world stage is a different thing. There’s transitions, some fit better than others. Are my expectations really really high? Absolutely. He has all the potential in the world to be a big star on a global basis. He brings a lot to the table and I’m looking forward to getting rolling.”
WALTER showed up at the end of TakeOver: Blackpool, kicking Joe Coffey in the face before staring down NXT UK Champion Pete Dunne. Triple H discussed the possibility of Dunne vs. WALTER at an upcoming TakeOver event, potentially during WrestleMania weekend.
“There’s a possibility of it. I expect the build to be epic and I expect it to be huge,” said Triple H. “We’ll see the direction it takes as well. Just because they stood in the ring and looked at each other doesn’t mean it’s a straight shot. Everybody wants their fix now. Go along for the ride.”
