The world of wrestling continues to pay tribute to Terry Funk.
Funk’s unfortunate passing was reported on Wednesday, August 23. Since the news broke, many people both in and out of the industry have taken to social media to pay tribute to the wrestling legend.
Every night in cities all over the world, Terry Funk left it all in the ring for our business and for the fans. An icon of our industry.

10 years ago, Lance Storm & I had a match with Terry Funk & Tommy Dreamer. I vividly remember standing in the ring crying while Terry made his entrance to Desperado by The Eagles. I was so honored to be in that match with Pro Wrestling’s folk hero.

I was the inaugural West Texas Champion after Terry Funk helped to introduce the newly minted championship in 2016. I’ll never forget what an honor that was.
