Trick Williams: CM Punk Has Been Great To Us At NXT
CM Punk has made multiple trips to the WWE Performance Center and NXT since he returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, whether it’s been to rehab from injury or appear on television.
Punk is set to serve as the special guest referee for the NXT Title bout between Trick Williams and Ethan Page on the October 1st episode of NXT.
Speaking on Ringer Wrestling Worldwide, Trick was asked about Punk’s visits to NXT.
“CM Punk has been great to us here at NXT. We have athletes from all over, all different backgrounds. We have a little bit of everything here at NXT, and CM Punk has found a way to be able to be helpful to us all. Not just me, all of us. We sit down and take the knowledge. We learn from CM Punk. The fact that he’s special guest referee in Chicago is huge for us. I’m super excited for it. I know he’s going to call it down the middle,” he said.
