Trey Miguel Comments On His Status For IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory

Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Trey Miguel doesn’t know how he’ll be involved with IMPACT Bound For Glory, but he wants to be a part of it.

Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Trey Miguel doesn’t know how he’ll be involved with IMPACT Bound For Glory, but he wants to be a part of it.

One day before Bound For Glory, IMPACT’s biggest-pay-per-view of the year, Miguel hasn’t been officially announced for the card, though he regularly competes on IMPACT programming.

Speaking with PWMania.com, Miguel admitted that he doesn’t have a “big idea” as far as what he’ll be doing at the show, but he’s confident he’ll wind up on the card.

“As for going forward, I don’t have a big idea for what I’ll be doing at Bound For Glory. I’m really excited about the card and I want to be on the show. I’m confident I will be, whatever my match may be. I’ll be there either way and I have some cool gear ready for whatever I will be doing, you know, I have to come correct for this big show,” Miguel said.

Miguel emphasized that he loves IMPACT Wrestling and highlighted the way the company has given him a platform to come into his own. He credited the creative team and other veterans who have helped him evolve.

“I love IMPACT Wrestling. It has given me the platform to become me. I didn’t have a great sense of who I was before, but they have a great creative team, guys like Jimmy Jacobs, Tommy Dreamer, D’ Lo Brown who recently left, Lance Storm, and an array of talent who help you come up with things you wouldn’t even think of. They have really helped me come into myself.The equity I have now as the entity, or as Trey Miguel or Spider Trey, however, I present myself, it is all because of IMPACT. They have a big place in my heart and they helped me find myself,” Miguel said.

IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President Scot D’Amore recently noted that the company hopes to return to Canada and the United Kingdom next year. More information is available here.
