Trevor Outlaw Reflects On ROH Experience, Calls GPA ‘Extremely Underrated’

Trevor Outlaw reflects on his Ring Of Honor debut.

On November 22, Trevor Outlaw made his debut for Ring Of Honor, tagging with GPA against the duo of Brandon Cutler and Colt Cabana. The match went on to air on the November 30 episode of ROH On HonorClub.

While speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Stephen Jensen on The Spotlight, Outlaw talked about his debut for the company and said that his tag partner, GPA, is extremely underrated.

“It was cool. I’ve actually never shared the ring with GPA before. Overall, swell guy. GPA is fantastic. He’s one of those guys that’s extremely underrated. He’s been around on the scene in Chicago for quite some time and I don’t think people realize how great that he is at making moments. To be able to share that experience with him was cool because I know what he brings to the table and how talented he is. That was my first time doing any extra work for AEW or ROH, doing a match. For it to be on the anniversary of my fourth year in wrestling was really cool. Outside of all the funny stuff that has happened, it’s been a real up and down career for me. I was wrestling with a messed up knee and tore a bunch of ligaments and missed the entirety of 2022. I was able to manage, but missing that year of my career. Coming back, I had six bone spurs pulled out of my arm in June, so I had to miss a couple of months from that. On top of all of that, starting my career right before a global pandemic. Wrestling doesn’t owe us anything, and I’m already a bitter prick with the way I’ve been treated in my life, so I’m used to eating a lot of crap sandwiches, if you will. To take a step back and have that moment. Whether it’s a graphic on social media, it’s still a moment that you can take in, look around and say, ‘Not everyone gets to do this.’”

Elsewhere in the interview, Outlaw said that the Nightmare Factory is like the Disneyland of wrestling. Fans can learn more here.
