Tough Enough Winner Sara Lee Returns To Training After Becoming A Mom
The female winner of the most recent season of Tough Enough, Sara Lee, had only a short run with the company before being released from her contract so she could go off and be a mother. Now, she's back in training.
Lee, chosen by fan vote and the recipient of a one year, $250,000 contract with WWE. Sara Lee did wrestle a few times at NXT Live Events, but never on TV.
Other contestants from that season who found more success include Sonya DeVille, and The Velveteen Dream–formerly known Daria Berenato and Patrick Clark.
Sara Lee was released from her contract about a year after she reported to the Performance Center, in October of last year.
It was then announced that she was expecting a child with her boyfriend, former NXT Tag Champ Wesley Blake. She gave birth to a daughter, Piper, in May.
Now, according to Squared Circle Sirens, Sara Lee is back in the ring, having signed up to train at Team Vision Dojo, the I Believe in Wrestling School in Orlando, FL.
Al Haft says she'll debut with the IBIW promotion when she is ready, and according to Haft, "with the way she trained yesterday, it shouldn't be too long before the fans get to see her in action."
We at Fightful wish Sara all the best in her quest to get back on track to achieving her dreams.
