Torrie Wilson Comments On Sting’s Impending Retirement, Calls Him A ‘Class Act’ And A Humble Person
Torrie Wilson comments on Sting nearing retirement and reflects on her interactions with him.
Sting was already seen as a modern-day legend in WCW by the time Torrie Wilson made her debut in 1999. 25 years later, Sting is ready to hang up the black bat and retire once and for all at AEW Revolution 2024.
During a recent interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, Torrie was given the opportunity to reflect on her time with Sting.
“He’s just a class act. He’s a notch above all of us. He’s so humble. He’s such a big superstar. He’s such a mega talent. He also takes the time for us little people, you know?”
Apter also gave Torrie the chance to send a message to “Stinger” and she was able to say that she’s not only a big fan of the performer, but more importantly a fan of the person behind the paint.
“What a run. I’m such a big fan, not only of the performer that you are but even more importantly, the person that you exude over all these years. You haven’t changed and it’s incredible. I’m getting the chills,” she said.
Elsewhere in this interview, she spoke more about today’s top stars and her love of WWE’s Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley. Read more here.
Ric Flair will also be along for the ride in the build-up to Revolution. Fans can learn more about his AEW debut here.
