Tony Schiavone Believes Eric Bischoff Got “F*cked Over” By Vince McMahon

Tony Schiavone is none too pleased that Eric Bischoff won’t be going into the WWE Hall of Fame with the New World Order.

It was announced on Dec. 9 that Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman would be going into the WWE Hall of Fame as the NWO. One name noticeably absent from the list is Eric Bischoff, who was the mastermind behind the NWO. Bischoff being left out of the group has upset former WCW announcer Tony Schiavone.

“Eric got fucked over once by Vince this year, why wouldn’t Vince fuck him over again?” Schiavone said on What Happened When. “I’m pissed off because Eric is not part of the NWO and into the Hall. I’m pissed off because Eric got fucked over by Vince McMahon. Everybody knows that Eric was brought in just so he could get fired. That fuckin sucks. The fact that he wasn’t put in the Hall of Fame with the NWO confirms it.”

Bischoff was fired as the Executive Director of SmackDown by McMahon on Oct. 15 and replaced by Bruce Prichard.

As for Schiavone, he now works for another rival promotion on AEW as an announcer.

When co-host Conrad Thompson mentioned that Schiavone wasn’t going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame due to his association with AEW, Schiavone replied, “That is fucking fine with me. I hope that I’m working for AEW until the day I die. Because, once it’s all over with, my family has been instructed that if they want to induct me in any way, post-mortem, the answer from the family is ‘no.’ Don’t expect for me to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.”
