Tony Khan On WWE, TNA, And STARDOM Making Executive Changes: It’s An Exciting Time For AEW
Tony Khan weighs in on changes made by other promotions.
Since the start of the new year, a lot has changed in the world of wrestling when it comes to executive decisions. Vince McMahon resigned as TKO Executive Chairman after being hit with a lawsuit and allegations that he sexually assaulted and sexually trafficked a former employee. Rossy Ogawa, who is the founder of STARDOM, was fired by Bushiroad from his position as executive producer after allegedly poaching talent. Scott’ D’Amore was fired by Anthem as TNA President.
With all the changes in wrestling, Tony Khan was asked for his thoughts during an appearance on Sports Grid.
“It’s a really exciting time for AEW right now. The company is doing some of our best wrestling ever. Right now is the best AEW has been. It’s an exciting time for the wrestling business. There are a lot of crazy things happening. It’s a really important time in wrestling for a variety of reasons. Somethings outside of wrestling that are bigger than wrestling. For us, we’re doing the best wrestling we’ve done in AEW right now,” he said.
Tony went on to praise recent episodes of AEW Dynamite and promote upcoming shows.
