Tony Khan Won’t Comment On MJF’s Promo And Him Begging To Be Fired

On the June 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF cut a scathing promo aimed at Tony Kahn and AEW.

MJF vented his frustrations with Khan and promotion, most notably that he had carried the company on his back and hit grand slams, but wasn’t paid as much as the ex-WWE guys who have been signed. At the end of the promo, MJF begged Tony Khan to fire him and called Khan, “A fucking mark.”

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Tony Khan was asked about MJF’s promo.

“I can’t comment on that part. I would say that it was a great night overall at the Forum, on the aggregate,” he said.

This is the second “no comment” from Khan on MJF as he also gave no comment following AEW Double or Nothing after MJF missed the fan fest and reportedly booked a flight out of Las Vegas on Saturday night. MJF still appeared at AEW Double or Nothing, losing to Wardlow, before his promo last Wednesday.

AEW has removed MJF from its footprint over the past week, taking him off the official roster, off AEW Shop, and out of the AEW Rampage intro.
