The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) and Jack Perry attacked Tony Khan at the end of the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. The show came the night before the beginning of the 2024 NFL Draft. On April 25, during the broadcast of the opening night of the NFL Draft, Khan, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Chief Football Strategy Officer, appeared wearing a neck brace.
The NFL Draft continued on April 26, and Khan appeared again. He still had the neck brace on, and he was sitting next to his father, Jaguars owner Shad Khan.
Broadcaster Rich Eisen commented on the situation by expressing his hope that Khan did not hurt himself when he was applauding a draft pick, as he noted that he was concerned about anyone who got piledriven.
