Tony Khan Says New Storylines Will Emerge At AEW Revolution 2022

Tony Khan says Revolution will be a time for stories to end but new stories will begin as well.

AEW, with their quarterly pay-per-view offerings, has flipped the script on the way stories and wrestling have been told for the last several decades allowing for pay-per-view is to really be the exclamation point on rivalries instead of just being a venue for what will amount to just another match in the long-term. That, combined with the fact that the promotion has only existed for three years and gains new wrestlers regularly, matches and storylines in AEW, for the most part, continue to feel fresh.

The Revolution pay-per-view takes place this Sunday, March 6 down in a new interview with DAZN, Tony Khan is promising that fans will not only see a great show but they will also see the emergence of new storylines.

“At Revolution, with the names involved, I think you’re going to see an excellent wrestling show. I’m very confident that the talent will deliver in the ring, but it’s also important that we use the show to build what we want to do for the rest of the year,” Tony said.

“This is going to be a show where some storylines end, but you’re also going to see new storylines emerge,” he continued. “We’ve built into this show so well in recent weeks, and you’ll see the hard work pay off at Revolution.”
