Tony Khan Says Andrade Is Injured, Andrade Provides A Recovery Timetable
Tony Khan talks about the condition of Andrade El Idolo.
The injury bug has been plaguing the world of wrestling throughout the summer of 2022. On the July 15 AEW Rampage Andrade El Idolo will accompany Private Party to the ring against The Lucha Bros.
On Twitter, Tony Khan revealed that Andrade is currently medically unfit to compete following a match that he had against Rey Fenix several weeks ago. In response to this, Andrade revealed that he will be back in action within the next two weeks.
Update: Andrade responded to a tweet about his injury by noting that he has been dealing with ankle inflammation because he has been in the business for nearly 20 years. He emphasized that the setback was nothing serious.
He’ll be ringside for Private Party vs Lucha Bros on #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama tonight, he’s been hurt since the classic vs @ReyFenixMx 3 weeks ago.
He got @IsiahKassidy & @Marq_Quen to help him tonight, & Lucha Bros both still want a piece of @AndradeElIdolo & @rushtoroblanco too https://t.co/YtIa1uqwXH— Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) July 15, 2022
