Tony Khan Addresses Unethical Ticket Resellers For 8/27 AEW Dynamite
On Thursday, AEW announced limited tickets would be available for the August 27 episode of Dynamite.
The announcement stated Daily’s Place would be filled 10 to 15 percent and AEW would comply with state and local regulations. A select number of physically distanced seating pods would be available for sale in groups of two, three, four and six around the outdoor venue.
Tickets went on sale today, August 21.
Unfortunately, AEW has already run into problems with people buying pods together and then trying to split them during resell. Taking to social media, Tony Khan addressed the issue.
We’ve seen unethical ticket resellers bought outdoor seat pods meant for family/friends & illegally tried to split them, theoretically to put unacquainted fans sat together. Nope. We’ll seek out & cancel any split pods to ensure fans can enjoy the show while keeping safe distance

Thank you to all of the great wrestling fans who support AEW! Here is my full statement regarding the illegal and unethical outdoor seating pod splitting on the secondary ticket resale market, a move by predatory online ticket resellers which won’t work and won’t be tolerated: pic.twitter.com/CTC2ETNviA
