Tony Deppen’s Return To The Ring Announced For GCW Homecoming 2023

Tony Deppen is returning to the ring.
Deppen suffered a broken arm during his match against Zack Sabre Jr. at GCW Fight Night: Brooklyn on May 11.
In a tweet, Game Changer Wrestling announced that Deppen will make his return to the ring at GCW Homecoming, which will be held at The Showboat in Atlantic City on August 19 and 20. As of this writing, Deppen’s opponent has not been announced.
The last 2 1/2 months have been hell to me- besides COVID this is longest I’ve gone without wrestling in 17 years. But at least I didn’t have to watch others wrestle during it like I’ve been doing since May.

Deppen had been regularly wresting for GCW and ROH prior to his injury. He is a former ROH World Television Champion. He also competed at MLW War Chamber in April.
GCW has also announced that Matt Cardona and Steph De Lander will face Maki Death Kill (Maki Itoh & Nick Gage) at GCW Homecoming, among other matches.
