Tony Deppen Pulled From GCW 56 Nights Due To COVID-19 Protocols

Tony Deppen won’t be competing at GCW 56 Nights on Friday.

Game Changer Wrestling announced Deppen has been pulled from the event “in adherence to GCW’s Covid-19 protocols and with an abundance of caution.” It was not confirmed or stated if Deppen tested positive for COVID-19.

Deppen was scheduled to take on ACH at the event. Ken Broadway has been announced as the new opponent for ACH.

Deppen did not compete at GCW Good Riddance on Thursday. He last wrestled at ROH Final Battle, losing to Dragon Lee in an ROH Television Title match.

Currently scheduled for GCW 56 Nights are bouts such as Mance Warner vs. Calvin Tankman, Blake Christian vs. Lee Moriarty, and Jordan Oliver vs. Tre Lamar.

Fightful will have results from GCW 56 Nights, which airs on FITE TV, following the conclusion of the event.
