Toni Storm bids farewell to STARDOM after her IWGP women’s title match.
On October 5th in Nagoya, Japan, May Iwatani defended her IWGP Women’s World Title in singles competition, as AEW’s Toni Storm challenged for the belt. Following a brutal poisonrana, Mayu was able to secure the victory to continue her 541+ day run as champion.
In a video posted to STARDOM’s social media after the bout, Toni would silently bid her farewell to the promotion, giving a hug to Mina Shirakawa before exiting the building and wandering off into the distance.

Storm was seconded to the ring by Mina Shirakawa for her title challenge, while Mina has been on and off AEW television as part of Mariah May’s AEW Women’s World Title celebration.
Storm will now head to Mexico next year where she will also wrestle. You can read more about that here.
