Tommaso Ciampa vs. Tony D’Angelo Set For NXT Stand And Deliver 2022
A new match has been made for NXT Stand & Deliver.
On the March 15 episode of NXT 2.0, Tommaso Ciampa came out and delivered a speech about gratitude. He talked about how wrestling has been his life and NXT was the first place to look at him and give him the chance to be the guy. He added that since 2015 he has never been doing it himself as he’s always had the fans. That said, by losing last week, he believes he lost his chance at a fairytale ending in NXT. He doesn’t know what the future holds but wanted to say thank you while he has the chance.
Tony D’Angelo then hit the ring with a crowbar, dropping it and challenging Ciampa to a match at Stand & Deliver. Ciampa shook his hand to accept the offer but Tony kicked him in the groin. He then kissed Ciampa on the cheek and told him that at Stand & Deliver he will become the new Don of NXT.
