Tommaso Ciampa Pulled From ‘Chaotic Wrestling’ Appearance, Replaced By Hanson
Tommaso Ciampa pulled from yet another appearance.
Chaotic Wrestling owner Brian Fury took to social media to make the announcement that current NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will no longer be appearing at Chaotic Wrestling’s ‘Cold Fury 18’ show on March 15th. Fury stated in a video on Facebook that he received word from NXT that Ciampa was being pulled from his appearance at his home-state promotion. Fury added that no further details were provided to him about why Ciampa was being pulled but he did come to the conclusion that filling in for “The Blackheart” will be one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions, Hanson of the War Raiders.
Being a promoter can be tough at times when you have to make announcements like this. But we are super pumped to have @WarBeardHanson at Cold Fury! https://t.co/E7oYxhejQM

Last week, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Ciampa was dealing with an injury but the severity and extent of said injury was unknown at the time of the writing. Ciampa was also scheduled to appear at Harley Race’s World League Wrestling event on March 9th but he has been replaced by Adam Cole.
While mentioning Harley Race, rumors were cleared up about him having terminal lung cancer over the weekend and for more information on that story, check out Fightful’s published article on the topic.
