Tom Lawlor SHOOTS HARD On Carrots, Says They Cause ‘Go Away Heat’
Tom Lawlor doesn’t like when carrots get involved in the world of pro wrestling.
For some reason, food and/or drinks have often been heavy factors in pro wrestling matches and/or segments. Sometimes, a wrestler will take a cake to the face, while other times, they might be drenched in a mysterious liquid that came from above the ring.
Nonetheless, Tom Lawlor specifically noted in a recent interview with Fightful that carrots cause “go away heat” for him after they ruined a recent independent bout between Kevin Blackwood and Starboy Charlie.
“I will hold Homicide, who I don’t have very much respect for, I would hold him at the same level of contempt that I hold anybody that would come out brandishing a bag of carrots during a match. I’ve seen this happen one time in my existence. Now, I have massive beef with both of these guys. Blackwood [Kevin Blackwood], and more importantly, Angels. I’m watching this great match, if I could put over West Coast Pro, great promotion in San Francisco. I’m watching this great match between Blackwood and Starboy Charlie. They are out there lighting it up. I’m having a hell of a time, hooting and hollering with my boys Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson, watching the match. How does it end? With a distraction. A distraction Angels, when he walks out eating a bag of carrots, and Blackwood gets the win. Go away heat.”
It is currently unknown how Lawlor feels about other rooted vegetables such as beets or turnips.
Elsewhere in the interview, Lawlor talked about how he is mad at himself because he can’t stop watching Power Slap. To learn more, click here.
