Be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST to find out!
-We open with James Storm talking about his title shot against Lashley for 3 titles. EC3 comes out and talks about his road to redemption, his winning streak. He says that he’s missing a moment of perfection, that he is on a quest to be the best. He then says he’s bound for glory before being interrupted by Bobby Lashley. Bobby says Bound For Glory is months away and he’s the best. Lashley says he evolved, grew and got better before being interrupted by James Storm. Storm mentions how they are live tonight and how tonight is his night. Storm is now screaming because his mic is messed up…that’s live tv for you. Lashley comes out of the ring and goes to hit Storm, but Storm ducks, the two exchanging right hands as they go to the back. Mike Bennett and Moose jump EC3 from behind after they have left. Eddie Edwards comes out to try and help out EC3, the crowd is so dead. EC3 and Edwards clear the ring. Edwards then grabs a mic and says that Bennett and Moose can’t wait to start fighting and that instead of doing it later, they do the match now as we go to commercial.
EC3 & Eddie Edwards vs Mike Bennett & MOOSE
EC3 starts it off with Mike Bennett, tagging Edwards in quickly, doing whatever they have to to keep Moose out of the ring. They hit a double suplex for a quick 2 count, Bennett hitting a back elbow and quickly tagging in Moose. Edwards repeatedly chops Moose across the chest, but Moose just throws him around then hits an amazing dropkick that hits Edwards who’s sitting on the top rope out of the ring and on to the floor, what athleticism by Moose. Moose tags in Bennett who drops Edwards with a right hand then tags Moose right back in. Edwards hits a DDT on Moose and tags in EC3 who takes out Bennett and Moose with jawbreakers. EC3 mocks Moose then takes him down with a clothesline then hits Bennett with a flapjack right onto Moose. EC3 goes for the One Percenter, but Moose counters. Moose is sent outside then Edwards and EC3 take him out on the outside. They put Moose on the top rope, Edwards hitting a hurricanrrana for a quick 2 count. Moose hits a Go To Hell and Bennett gets the pin and the win.
Winner: Mike Bennett via pinfall
-We get another James Storm video package after a vignette for Decay. We then get the reveal of the latest TNA signing, Aron Rex formerly known as Damien Sandow. Rex says he’s going to tell the truth, saying it’s not about his time in WWE, it’s about the fans. A face Sandow…huh…This could be interesting. Rex says that no matter what they want you to believe, everyone who’s ever set foot in a ring has done it for the fans. He says you succeed in TNA based on talent, not backstage politics. He says that he never tested his IQ, it was just an act. Pretty good worked shoot segment by the former WWE Superstar.
Marti Bell vs Gail Kim No Disqualification Match
Bell lays into Gail with elbows then two suplexes and a side russian leg sweep. Bell then stomps Kim in the corner as they talk about Aron Rex. Maria is looking on along with Allie at ringside as Bell sends Gail into the railing then back into the ring. Gail goes for Eat Defeat, but it’s countered, Gail hitting a blockbuster off the top rope for a quick 2 count. Marie makes Allie get in the ring, but Gail throws her into Marti then rolls her up for the pin and the win.
WInner: Gail Kim via pinfall.
-After the match Bell, Allie and Maria beat Gail until Jade comes out and takes out Bell and Allie. Maria says next week it’s Jade vs Gail next week.We then get Matt talking to Reby as they drive to Jeff who is standing by a pond. Wait…the drone was driving? Matt says that Jeff is a threat to Decay. Vanguard One leaves to go back to the Hardy house.
-As we come back we get another James Storm video package. Next Matt Hardy comes out and summons Brother Nero. Jeff is as annoyed with Matt as I am at this point. Jeff asks why Matt bit a fan last week. Matt says that ants aren’t allowed to touch gods. Jeff says that he’s so broken now that he’s afraid and won’t even get in the ring anymore. Matt says that Jeff must repay his debt for breaking his leg and losing them the belts. Jeff says they should go back then Matt says they cannot and he must obey or he’ll delete him. The Tribunal come out and interrupt them, Snow saying that Matt should go to France and find real talent.
Jeff Hardy vs The Tribunal
Jeff takes out both members early with a flying double clothesline as we go to commercial.
The Tribunal are in control as we come back from commercial as the crowd is strongly behind Jeff. Jeff goes to tag in Matt, but he won’t let him. Matt tries to shut the crowd up as Jeff nearly taps to a kimura lock, Matt grabbing a sign then pressing his head against the fan saying delete before tearing up the sign. Snow then blows the whistle in Matt’s ear before Matt takes off his boot and pounds Dex by the steps with it, he’s snapped. Jeff hits the Twist of Fate for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jeff Hardy via pinfall with a Twist of Fate
-After the match Matt says Jeff has shown a little passion and fire before Jeff hits five Twist of Fates…okay 6. Wow, that was crazy. Matt is very pleased as Jeff gets out a table. Jeff tosses Al Snow out of the ring and puts him on the table, getting up on the top rope and hitting a tope over the top rope and through the table. Jeff then says that the only person who punishes him is himself, before Jeff hits a swanton off the top rope through a table just to hurt himself. Jeff says that he is Brother Nero, he’s been broken. Matt said he would break him and he did.
-They show Dixie and Bobby Lashley backstage with Billy Corgin. We then get a Decay promo. Drew Galloway then comes out and talks about what EC3 did last week and shows the clip of him hitting him with a kendo stick. Galloway says that he’s hit him three times with one, saying that he figured it out, that EC3 did it on purpose. They then show a fourth James Storm video package.
James Storm vs Bobby Lashley
Storm knocks Lashley over the top rope to start the match, knocking him down then throwing him into the railing. Storm then drops Lashley with a clothesline before tossing him back in the ring. Storm then tosses Lashley around the outside, not letting up, really dominating from the time the bell rang as we go to commercial. Lashley finally mounts some offense as we come back, slamming Storm down and playing to the crowd. Lashley gets a quick 2 count then drives his knee into his throat. Lashley goes for a spear, but Storm counters then Lashley hits a cross body for a close 2 count. Storm hits a backstabber then hits the Eye of The Storm. Lahsley hits a spear for a very close 2 count. Storm hits two Last Calls, but Lashley kicks out somehow. This is a great match. Lashley ends up hitting a spear out of no where and gets the pin and the win. Lashley now owns nearly every title, well every belt he can attain…for now. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to become tag champion.
