TNA IMPACT WRESTLING On POP 10/3 Bobby Lashley VS Eddie Edwards In A Super Fight & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of TNA IMPACT on POP! Tonight we will finally have the rematch everyone has been waiting for as Eddie Edwards will defend his TNA World title against Bobby Lashley! Brandi Rhodes is set to speak her mind about her situation with Maria and we have triple Team X Gold! Be sure to come back here at 8 PM EST for all of tonight's action!

-Brandi Rhodes comes out and talks about what happened to Cody and their marriage and her decision to become a wrestler. Maria and Sienna come out and Maria threatens her, asking if she'll go home and take care of Cody or stay there and be a part of the Knockouts division. Maria then talks about Allie, saying she had a lesson to learn and she learned it and she'll be a better apprentice. Maria gives her the opportunity to join her, because she wants her to become the woman she truly is and not ride on Cody's coattails. Maria says her and Mike are 50/50, Brandi saying she's her own woman and makes her own decision and that her name is Rhodes and that name means something and demands respect and that even if she' doesn't have Maria's respect she says she doesn't need her help with anything. Sienna backs her down, but Brandi attacks her then she turns to Maria, but Sienna attacks her from behind. Sienna hits Brandi with an AK-47 then Maria and Sienna leave. 

Jessie Godderz vs Aron Rex Impact Grand Championship Match

Round 1

They start off with various locks then Jessie hits Rex with a series of right hands before running him into various corners then hits a dropkick for a quick 2 count. Jessie tries hard for a boston crab, but Rex counters and Jessie turns it into a slingshot then an olympic slam for another quick 2 count. Jessie goes for an armbar, but time expires before he can get the tap.

Round 1 goes to Godderz

Round 2

Rex is in control to start round 2, hitting an elbow drop then puts on a side headlock that he powers out of, but Rex hits a kitchen sink into a float over suplex for a quick 2 count. Godderz rolls up Rex for a quick 2 count of his own then drops Rex with a clothesline then an elbow into a powerslam for another quick 2 count.

Round 2 goes to Godderz

Round 3

Jessie seems to have something in his eye to start round 3 and Rex rakes him in the eyes before dropping him with a punch for the pin and the win.

Winner: Aron Rex via pinfall

Andrew Everett, Marshae Rocket & Trevor Lee vs Rockstar Spud & Decay vs Braxton Sutter, Mark Andrews & DJ Z

Steve, Everett and Z start it off, apparently there's 3 people in the ring at one time.  Z takes out Steve then dives out onto Everett on the outside. Andrews comes in and hits a double foot stomp on Steve then Lee puts him into a corner. Steve bites Andrews as Everett chokes him, Spud coming in and stomping on him until Rocket comes in and Spud tags in Abyss. Bayss and Rocket exchange right hands and lariats and shoulder tackles before Andrews drops them both. Andrews tags in Sutter who drops Steve and Everett, in control until Abyss comes in and hits a chokeslam then a Dark Hole Slam. The referee ejects Steve and Abyss from the match for some reason. Sutter gets the pin on Spud for the pin and the win.

Winner: Braxton Sutter via pinfall

-Matt and Jeff come out and Matt talks about DCC and asks them to come out to the ring. They appear in the ring and two of them attacks Matt and Jeff before the third comes in and they hit a triple team move. After they beat them up and start to leave Jeff tells them to come back if they want to fight as he and Matt get up and they come back.

Matt & Jeff Hardy vs DCC

One attacks Jeff on the outside and another on the inside with Matt, them double teaming Matt. They hit a double team move on Matt then one punches Matt on the ground before hitting him with a right hand then whips him into a corner. Matt hits a neckbreaker then tags in Jeff who drops both of them. Jeff teases a Twist of Fate, but they counter it then Jeff drops them with a double clothesline. The third comes in and you have no idea who is who so they call the match off.

Winner: No Contest

-After the match Jeff fights one to the back and Matt does as well. A third attacks the referee then heads to the back and Matt and Jeff fight them in the back. They have another over the top brawl and it seems by the end Matt has amnesia after falling from a forklift.

-EC3 comes out and talks about Eli Drake and tells him to come out to the ring. Drake comes to the ramp and EC3 tells him to come to the ring, Drake saying they'll get in the ring and fight and he is fine where he is. EC3 talks about how Drake said he got everything and Drake had to work for everything. EC3 talks about all the things he earned including beating Kurt Angle. EC3 talks about Drake having an opportunity for a title and he won't take the match because he's too afraid. EC3 asks him to put his #1 contendership up for grabs in a match and Drake decides to not accept, but EC3 says if he loses he will never challenge for the world title again. Drake doesn't agree and says he is cashing in next week.

Eddie Edwards vs Bobby Lashley TNA World Title Match

Lashley starts off in control early with a wrist lock then Eddie puts on a side headlock, but Lashley just throws him off. Lashley backs Eddie into the corner and hits him with a series of right hands then Eddie drops him with a clothesline. Lashley hits a back elbow that drops Eddie then drops him again with a shoulder block. Eddie takes out Lashley on the outside then chops him on the outside before Lashley hits a suplex on the floor. Lashley grabs Eddie and hits another one on the ramp, Lashley drumps Eddie over the guardrail then gets back into the ring and plays to the crowd before going back out after him. Lashley gets him back to ringside then chokes Eddie as we go to our final commercial.

Lashley is in control as we come back, keeping Eddie grounded then drops him with a right hand before playing to the crowd then drops him again. Eddie hits a jawbreaker then chops Lashley, dropping him with a big boot when Lashley goes for a spear. Eddie splashes him, but Lashley hits a cross body for a close 2 count. Lashley goes for a suplex, but Eddie counters and hits a powerbomb, Eddie dropping him repeatedly then sends Lashley over the top rope to the outside, diving out after him. Eddie puts him back into the ring then hits a shinning wizard for a close 2 count. Lashley hits a dominator for a very close 2 count then Eddie sends him to the outside and dives out after him again. Lashley sets him on the top rope, but Eddie shoves him, Lashley running into the referee then hits a spear, but there's no referee. We get another referee and Lashley murders him then Eddie hits the Boston Knee Party for the pin and the win.
