Titus O’Neil Hosts Christmas Gift Drive; More Than 15,000 Gifts Handed Out To Children And Adults
Titus O’Neil with another charitable feat.
Former WWE Tag Team Champion and ambassador of the sports-entertainment company Titus O’Neil is known for being a WWE superstar but most know him for his charitable acts outside of the ring. Before the summer was over, Titus O’Neil teamed up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Florida hospitals to hand out school supplies and 15,000 backpacks to children before the school year began. The kindness does not stop there as Titus recently hosted the 9th annual ‘Joy Of Giving’ event where over 15,000 Christmas gifts were handed out to children and some adults in the Tampa, Florida area at ‘Raymond James Stadium’.
FOX 13 got in a quick word with Titus about doing good onto others and he said that it all derives from him having a rough upbringing and wanting to brighten up the days of those who are not as fortunate during this time of the year.
“Coming from my situation — having a single parent mother…when people invested in me when they had nothing in return is why I’m even in the situation to be able to do this.” O’Neil explained.
Titus shared the news of what he was doing on Twitter which garnered a massive reaction from his fellow WWE colleagues:
I grew up in a home that didn’t have much to give or get for the the holidays…But because of those that invested in me and my family with nothing to gain in return, I can Now do the same!!
Thanks again to all that helped make TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE—-https://t.co/GOrkDwQsA8— Titus O’Neil (@TitusONeilWWE) December 23, 2018
