Titán wins the 2024 Copa Independencia.

At CMLL’s 91st Anniversary show on September 13th, Titán faced Máscara Dorada in the finals of the 2024 Copa Independencia. Dorada previously won Phase One to punch his ticket to the finals, while Titán advanced by beating Averno, Zandokan Jr., Hijo de Villano III, Crixus, Dark Panther, Star Jr., and Dulce Gardenia.

Titán’s momentum continued at CMLL’s 91st Anniversary show, as he defeated Máscara Dorada in a hard-fought match. He clinched the win via submission with a Cross-Jacket variant of “La Titanica”.

Esfinge previously won the 2023 Copa Independencia by defeating Rugido at CMLL 90th Anniversary.

Titán has held numerous titles in CMLL, including the CMLL World Welterweight Championship, the CMLL World Tag Team Championship, and the Mexican National Trios Championship. He has also wrestled for NJPW, ROH, and AEW.
