Tiger Mask To Miss Upcoming NJPW Events

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced its return to live events on Monday night, but Tiger Mask will not be part of the action. 

NJPW put out a statement revealing that Tiger Mask is recovering from colonic diverticulitis and won’t be able to compete over the next month and NJPW resumes action.

Tiger Mask will be absent from forthcoming New Japan Pro-Wrestling events as he recovers from colonic diverticulitis. We apologise to all fans who are looking forward to seeing Tiger Mask perform, and wish him well in his recovery. 

NJPW announced on Monday night that live events will start again on June 15 with a special mystery card. On June 16, the New Japan Cup will begin and last through July 11, which is the date of the finals. Dominion will take place on July 12. 

Tiger Mask was not announced for the New Japan Cup, but there will be special matches on each card that don’t pertain to the tournament.
