Thom Latimer Captures NWA National Heavyweight Title On 5/7 NWA Powerrr
A new NWA National Heavyweight Champion has been crowned.
Thom Latimer defeated Blake Troop, Paul Burchill, and Zyon to capture the vacated title on the May 7 episode of NWA Powerrr.
The title was vacated by “Thrillbilly” Silas Mason, a move he made so that he could challenge EC3 for the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title. That match also took place on May 7 and Mason lost.
Latimer is a former NWA World TV Champion and in the past, he has had opportunities to become NWA’s Worlds Champion but come up short.
This championship is a new beginning for Latimer as he goes it alone with his wife, Kamille, moving on to a new chapter of her career after leaving the NWA in January.
