Thieves Take WWE Ref Charles Robinson For Over $55,000 Worth Of Memorabilia
Charles Robinson is hoping to recover items he’s spent years collecting.
The WWE referee is a noted collector of Hollywood memorabilia and wrestling items, as showcased in the video above from WWE. After collecting items for years, someone broke in and stole tons of it.
Robinson went to check a storage unit where his items were being held on May 28, when he realized that someone had broken in and stolen lots of his items, per a TMZ report. Among the items stolen were from “Planet of the Apes,” “Chucky,” “Friday the 13th,” Evel Knievel and WWE franchises. A “Jaws” statue appeared on eBay this week, but the listing was pulled before he noticed.
“Little Naitch” would file a police report, but hasn’t gained any ground just yet. To make matters worse, the company that runs the storage unit didn’t seem too helpful, and didn’t catch anything on security cameras.
Robinson has worked in the wrestling business for decades, refereeing matches across WCW and WWE along the way. If you have any information about the items, let him know about it.
