– Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne went shopping. Thea said she wasn’t a kid anymore, and she tried on some outfits to prove it. Jayne teased that fans will see the new and improved Thea Hail on the September 26 episode.

– NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes faced NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio. Ilja Dragunov attacked Mysterio to force the disqualification. Dragon Lee got involved and posed with the NXT North American Championship.

– NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch kicked off the show. Lynch discussed her title win and named several potential contenders. She said she was glad to represent NXT again. Tiffany Stratton interrupted and said she was the future of NXT. She made it clear that she wanted a rematch for the title. Stratton named NXT No Mercy as the place. Lynch accepted, but she claimed that Stratton wasn’t hungry enough. They brawled. Kiana James got involved, and Lynch fought them off.

– Eddy Thorpe sent a heated message to Dijak and challenged him to a strap match.

– Butch defeated Tyler Bate to win Group A of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational.
– Duke Hudson faced Joe Coffey in Group B action. Hudson scored the win, so Group B was tied.
– Joe Coffey defeated Duke Hudson and Nathan Frazer to win Group B in the NXT Global Heritage Invitational. He will face Butch in the finals on September 26.
– NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo considered their potential challengers and noted they could fight it out themselves.
– Becky Lynch was set to face Kiana James and Tiffany Stratton. They attacked her before the bell, and Lyra Valkyria made the save. Valkyria and Lynch proved to be a winning duo, as they scored the victory.
– Following a post-match attack by Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch named the stipulation for their match at NXT No Mercy.
– Roxanne Perez faced Lola Vice and scored the win.
– Dominik Mysterio tried to recruit Trick Williams to The Judgment Day. Later in the show, Joe Gacy tried to get Williams to join Schism.
– Mustafa Ali expressed his frustration in a tweet and said he’s coming to the September 26 episode of WWE Raw.
– In an NXT Exclusive, Butch commented on his victory.
