Tenille Dashwood Provides An Update On How She’s Doing Post-Shoulder Surgery

Tenille is ready for her next test.

After being released from WWE in the fall of 2017, Tenille Dashwood went to become one of the more demanded talents on the independent wrestling scene. She was heavily featured in Ring Of Honor throughout this year and had the opportunity to challenge for the Women Of Honor World Championship. Tenille was inserted into a storyline in Ring Of Honor where she was attacked backstage after her championship match at ‘Death Before Dishonor XVI’ in September which was to write her off television so that she could go and have shoulder surgery. Tenille came out the following day at the ROH TV tapings and announced that she was stepping away from the ring to take care of the nagging shoulder injury and she recently sat down with Alicia Atout of ‘A Music Blog, ‘Yea?’ and provided an update on how she’s feeling six weeks post-surgery.

“Good actually. It’s been almost six weeks now, so I’ve had a huge improvement over the last week or two where I can kind of use my arm a little bit again but otherwise I was in a sling so I can take it off now, I can straighten my arm. That’s kind of the extent. I can’t lift up. That’s about as far as it goes but yeah, it’s gonna be long process.” She continued, “Probably about six months total but when I’m finished, then I’ll be better than I have been in a long time so it’s worth it. It’s worth it in the end.”

On a related note, the championship that Tenille was chasing prior to her injury will be defended at ‘Final Battle’ in a Four Corners Survival match and to view the competitors in that bout, click here.
