Tegan Nox: Toni Storm Is Just Being Herself, That’s The Toni I’ve Known For 12 Years
Tegan Nox has praise for Toni Storm.
Tegan Nox and Toni Storm have history in wrestling dating back a decade to when they first wrestled each other in England. Nox and Storm have crossed paths throughout the years and, in the words of Taylor Wilde, were “work wives” during their time together in WWE.
Now that Storm is in AEW, and Nox is back in WWE, they may not talk as much, but Nox is still keeping up with one of her best friends.
“Killing it,” she said on Wilde On when “Timeless” Toni was brought up. “We talk every now and then, I don’t get to see her as much because we both have crazy schedules. We check on each other every so often. She’s doing good.”
Wilde offered heaps of praise on Storm for her current work, saying it’s very on brand for Toni and that she’s doing a great job.
“It’s so good. It’s very her as well. She’s the best. ‘Chin up, tits out,’ that’s the most Toni thing she could possibly say. I messaged her straight after and was like, ‘That is you. That’s the Toni I’ve known for 12 years.’ She’s just being herself. ‘Oh God, how far is this going to go. I know you and you’re going to push the ball as far as you can.’ I just love that she is throwing shoes at people. It’s great. I love her so much,” said Nox.
“Timeless” Toni has been part of short films in recent weeks on AEW TV.
As for Nox, she was injured in her match against Becky Lynch on the October 17 episode of NXT.
