Taz Comments On AEW’s Backstage Drama, Says The Wrestling Business Is A Train That Never Stops Moving
Taz comments on the backstage drama in All Elite Wrestling.
The recent success of AEW has been clouded by a various amount of backstage issues. Recently, the social conversation around the product seems to be around the reported AEW All Out fights rather than the in-ring action or even the recent return of MJF.
In a new interview with Newsday, AEW commentator Taz dismissed the recent controversies and noted that the pro wrestling business is a train that never stops moving.
“Anything that happened two weeks ago, last week, or last night, that’s in the rearview mirror. And we’re onward and upward. That’s how it’s been, no matter what. The pro wrestling business is a train, and the train is going to keep on rolling.”
Taz also commented on AEW’s second visit to Arthur Ashe Stadium, noting that he is very excited for the Dynamite main event.
“It’s rare in wrestling that you do a stadium show. Stadium shows are no joke, You put those two cats [Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson] in the ring for the AEW world title—sign me up. I’m blessed that, as a commentator, I’m able to call it.”
Taz’s son HOOK is set to team up with rapper Action Bronson on Rampage: Grand Slam, as the duo will face Angelo Parker and Matt Menard in a tag bout. To see the full lineup for the show, click here.
