Taylor Wilde Says She Was Coming Out Of Retirement For Mae Young Classic

Last week's Mae Young Classic saw several familiar names, including former TNA Knockout's Champion Mia Yim. However, another was considered.

Former TNA Knockouts and two-time Knockouts tag team Champion Taylor Wilde took to twitter to mention that she almost participated in the all-women's tournament until an injury derailed her.

Still only 31-years old, the Canadian retired in early 2011 at only 25. The move surprised many, as she was in the middle of a successful run in TNA Wrestling. Wilde also teamed with WWE head women's trainer Sarah Stock during her time in WWE. Since her retirement, Wilde has been largely absent from the wrestling scene.

The Mae Young Classic will be available on August 28 and September 4, will a live tournament final on September 12.
